What Kayla remembers from her surgery

Thanks so much for your prayers, emails, text messages, phone calls, visits.

The surgery went very well. The sutures are under the top skin so not visible. What's the difference between "sutures" and "stitches"? I think, if plastic surgeon did it, they are called "sutures", if regular doctor, "stitches".

Anyway area still bruised, so hard to tell how fine (or not) the surgeon's cut is. Then we can judge the handiwork of this Chief Plastic Surgeon from Children's Hospital. Thanks to Richard's work health insurance, the surgery cost $10.

Read Kayla's account of her experience below.

it was very odd i was in the room and than i fell asleep. and i woke up in a room and i had my tongue in stitches and i had a thing on my cheek . the last thing i remember was the cookie joke - the joke was why did the cookie go to the doctor? because he was feeling crummy . i also remembered - where did the snowman hide his money? in a snow bank. the mask smelled like strawberry and i went to sleep i don't really remember anything
